ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Wynne Ritch:  Wynne Ritch, Maria Valencia and other veterans attended the Veteran Day Celebration held in the San Fernando Valley.  He informed us of his plan to donate his collection of flags to a museum soon. He believes that it will serve a better purpose in a museum than his garage at home.
Dave Friedman: informed us that the demotion party is slated for Saturday June 25, 2016 from 11.00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.  It’s a barbecue style party and the price per ticket is $18.00. Attendance is free to children.
Tom Harris: Pancake breakfast at the Fire Station.  Please remember to attend.
Maria Valencia: There will be no meeting on June 23, 2016 because we will be having our demotion party on June 25, 2016.
Guest Speaker- Mr. Art Hugon
Great to have him at our meeting today. Mr. Hugon is a registered Investment Advisor.
Topic: WALL STREET’S FEES & FIBS
Mr. Hugon started out in business many years ago. During this time, he became dissolution as a young man. He used his inheritance from his grandmother and invested in the stock market.  He started with $30,000. At the end, he had only $3,000 remaining.  Along the way, he dabbled into other profession before he finally decided that being an investment advisor was his true calling. According to him, high fees, commission and deductions are killing the Stock Exchange Market. Wall Street wants to steal your future by high fees and high expenses he told us.
He said a close friend once advised him (when he was starting out) that in order to succeed as an Investment Advisor, he would need three things.
First, gray hair.
Second, Punch.
Third, real tight underwear for that look of concern.
High fees and expenses are killers.
Mr Hugon’s company InvestoCore is a fee only investment advisor company.  He does not charge any commission for investment he recommends. His clients only pay hourly fees for investment advise he gives them or a percentage of assets if he provides advise and continuous supervision for specific accounts of his clients.  His main area of focus is:
  1. Asset management services.
  2. Financial planning and consulting services.
Here are some tips fro Mr. Hugon:
Always follow the money.  Advisory fees only equals Objective Advice- no conflict of interest.
For more on hot tips for investing, please attend Mr. Hugon free seminar on Saturday June 18, 2016 – 10AM – 1PM.  Topic for discussion is “Core Investing”.

Meeting ended at 1:15PM
