Announcement:  Marie Valencia reminded members about our forthcoming Christmas Lives party slated for December 15, 2015 at the Laborers Local 300 at 14800 Devonshire Street, Mission Hills CA. Members should please come early to help set up the venue.

She then called upon Ronald Supancic to give a brief talk about his mission/project.

He informed the audience about his mission/project–Mediators Beyond Borders, about what they do and what they stand for.  He encouraged Rotarians to get involved and invite guest to the forthcoming Rotary World Peace Conference 2016 in Ontario California. The highlight of our event today was the great performance by the Monarch Jazz Group from Valley College. The Group took us down memory lane, singing old and familiar Christmas tunes and great jazz music of their own.  Guest participated by singing along with the group.  At the end of their performance, they got a standing ovation from the audience.

Overall, it was a great event and we all had a great time.
